Mark Wahlberg Leaving 'Transformers' Franchise After 'Last Knight'

The 'Daddy's Home' actor says 'Transformers: The Last Knight' will mark his last appearance in the franchise.

Mark Wahlberg is leaving "Transformers" after leading the last two installments. When dropping by "The Graham Norton Show", the actor said "Transformers: The Last Knight" would be his last movie in the franchise.
"It's the last one so I get my life back!" Walhberg said, before revealing the downside of playing the leading man Cade Yeager. "The long hair is the worst thing ever," he joked. "I look like my mum in the '70s - it's just really bad!"
Mark Wahlberg first played the character in 2014's "Transformers: Age of Extinction", replacing Shia LaBeouf who left after three movies. "The Last Knight" is coming out June 21. It is expected to be followed with a "Bumblebee" movie. Hailee Steinfeld is reportedly in talks to lead the spin-off.
